AI assistant for salons & spas
Your front desk stops getting pulled away every time the phone rings.
An AI assistant answers the routine calls, books the appointments, and passes anything else to a person.
Live demo
Don't take my word for it. Call it.
The number below rings an AI receptionist I set up for a made-up hair salon. It knows the salon's hours, services, and prices. Ask it what a client would ask you. Try to trip it up.
(415) 853-0356It's the AI on the line. Nothing gets booked for real.
This is a demo for a fictional salon called Willow & Ash. Ask it anything a real client would ask.
- “How much is a cut and color?”Gets a straight answer, not a runaround.
- “Are you open Saturday?”Knows the hours. Offers the next slot.
- “Can I get in with Jess on Tuesday?”Checks her book and holds the slot.
- “I need to talk to a person.”Takes a message or transfers. Knows when to stop.
The problem
The phone doesn't care that you're busy.
-
It rings mid-color.
You've got foils in and a timer running. You stop, peel off your gloves, and answer a question about Saturday hours while the client in your chair waits.
-
It goes to voicemail.
You couldn't get to it, so it rang through. The caller didn't leave a message. They called the next salon on the list, and that one picked up.
-
It eats the afternoon.
Your front desk spends the day answering “are you open Saturday?” for the twentieth time while the client standing at the counter waits to be checked in.
The assistant handles the routine calls so the desk doesn't have to.
What it does
Three things it takes off your plate.
-
AI phone agent
Answers the phone when your desk can't, day or night. It knows your hours, services, and prices, books the appointment, and hands anything unusual to a person or takes a message.
setup + monthly -
AI appointment setter
Replies to missed calls, texts, and web forms within seconds and handles the back-and-forth of finding a time. The appointment lands in your booking calendar, with a reminder sent before the visit.
setup + monthly -
AI chat for your website and Instagram

Also available
- AI executive assistantSorts your inbox, drafts replies in your voice, and keeps your calendar so you're not doing it at 10 PM.
- AI data cleanupYour client list or spreadsheets handed back with duplicates merged, formats fixed, and missing fields filled where they can be.
- Systems integrationFor the rare case where your phone, booking, and payment systems need to be properly connected so nothing gets typed twice.
How it works
Your number stays yours. It just gets answered.
-
You forward your number
You forward your existing salon number to the assistant. Clients keep calling the number they already have.
-
It answers and books
It picks up, answers the routine questions, and books appointments into your calendar. You get a text summary of every call.
-
Anything else goes to your desk
If a caller needs a person, it rings through to your front desk. If nobody can pick up, it takes a message and passes it along.
You keep your phone number. The forward lives with your own carrier, and you can turn it off any time without asking anyone.
Pricing
One setup fee. One flat monthly fee.
The phone, booking, and chat assistants are each a one-time setup fee plus a flat monthly fee. Setup covers the build, tuning it to your salon, and testing before it goes live. Monthly covers hosting, monitoring, and changes as your hours, services, or prices change. Data cleanup and systems work are one-time projects, quoted up front. No hourly billing, and you'll have an exact figure before any work starts.
About
Set up by a person, not a platform.
I'm Dan. The tools behind this are good now — good enough that the difference between an AI receptionist that embarrasses you and one that quietly books customers is entirely in the setup: the hours, the edge cases, the tone, and knowing when to stop and get a human.
That's the part I do by hand, for each business. I'm not reselling a login. You get something that sounds like you, tested against the calls you actually get, and a person to reach when something needs changing.
DSN Frontier is early-stage, and that works in your favor. I'm taking on a handful of founding clients and giving each one the kind of attention a bigger shop can't.
